Finance Coordinator
Salary: This is an entry level position with an annual salary of $56,175.
Location: Washington, DC preferred. While NDRC & Affiliates staff are fully remote, this position is tasked with duties taking place at the organization’s physical DC office, such as printing and assembling materials for donor meetings and events.

Responsibilities
Department coordination and administration: You’ll be in charge of keeping the department running smoothly with operational support, such as meeting scheduling, minute-taking, expense reports, and cross-departmental communication.
System development: We’ll look to you to design and/or maintain systems to streamline project management, ensure accurate data tracking, and coordinate across departments to meet our objectives.
Content creation and management: You’ll take the lead on drafting, reviewing, and revising content, such as call time materials and briefing memos for donor meetings, as well as tracking review processes and sharing final public materials with donors.
Event support: You’ll work with your team to manage or assist in organizing logistical pieces of in-person and virtual events, such as securing meeting space, booking travel/lodging/meals, buying materials, printing, etc.
Intern management: During Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters, you’ll be the main point of contact for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and overseeing department intern’s day-to-day activity.
Essential Qualifications:
Strong commitment to the organization’s mission
Interest in fundraising for nonprofit and political organizations and political campaigns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once under tight deadlines
A self-starter who can take initiative and follow directions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a support staff in a high paced team-oriented environment
Experience with NGP VAN or a similar CRM
Experience as an intern or staff on a local, statewide, or federal campaign, at a PAC, nonprofit, or political organization

Travel: Some national travel and attendance at staff retreats is expected

Timeline: Interviews will happen on a rolling basis with a preferred start date of early-mid October.
Affiliate Structure: NDRC is affiliated with the National Redistricting Action Fund (NRAF), a 501(c)(4) organization, which is affiliated with the National Redistricting Foundation (NRF), a 501(c)(3) organization. Payroll and benefits are administrated via NRAF.
